Today we were in Ottawa visiting Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating facility and spent our time with Mrs. Rene Ficek, President & Owner. Growing up in the food industry, Rene shared her path to becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist, and her path to eventually acquiring Seattle Sutton in 2018. She discussed the long history of this local company and their mission of promoting wellness through healthy eating habits. Rene spent time discussing marketing strategies, re-branding, vendors, and distribution channels. She also had great advice on time management and the work-life balance that is needed in running a successful business. Thank you Rene and Seattle Sutton for having us over.
