We had a very nice visit today to Flower’s Plus in Streator with Owner, Ms. Emilie Overy. Emilie discussed how early jobs she held ultimately led her to purchasing Flower’s Plus almost 18 years ago. Not just a floral shop, she shared the operations of also offering a gifting line and wedding services. Emilie had a lot of great advice on having working relationships with similar businesses in your industry. She views this as camaraderie and connections to help you improve your business. She answered many questions on topics of inventory, pricing, her customer base, and much more. Emilie also took us through the process of cutting and processing flowers for arrangements.
