Yesterday we visited IDEX Corporation in Northbrook and spent our time with former Streatorite, Mrs. Allison (Vadas) Lausas. Allison is currently the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at IDEX; a private equity Fortune 500 company with over 8000 employees. She assembled a team of her colleagues to present on a variety of topics. We learned of IDEX’s history and the operating model they follow. We had sessions on pricing strategies, communications, and an interactive session on the GROW coaching model they utilize. Additionally, we had a women’s career panel where so much valuable advice was shared. This trip really reinforced many professional development topics, as our young ladies get close to embark on their careers. A special thanks to IDEX, Allison Lausas, and the following presenters:

Law Burks, President, IDEX Energy
Maggie Wang, Director, Business Optimization
Haleigh McPeek, Manager, Talent Development
Matt Osman, Director, Talent Development
Mark Spencer, Vice President, Global Communications
Nedjine Doreus, Communications Specialist
Abbie Roche, Chief Sustainability Officer & Associate General Counsel
Jen Goldacker, Executive Administrative Assistant
Tristan Bishop, Vice President, Human Resources
